Role Overview

The Assisted Living Coordinator leads daily care operations, ensuring high-quality, resident-centered services in an assisted living environment. They are responsible for recruiting, hiring, and developing caregiving staff, managing staffing, scheduling, and daily timekeeping. The role involves overseeing operational functions, implementing resident care plans, and collaborating with clinical teams to assess and address resident needs.

Key duties include monitoring residents’ conditions, communicating with families, and partnering with Activities and Dining to enhance residents’ experiences. The coordinator ensures compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards while managing team performance, engagement, coaching, and evaluations. They also support departmental budget management and operational efficiency.

Qualifications include at least one year of experience in assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare, along with supervisory or team leadership experience. The role requires strong staffing and management skills, knowledge of care practices and regulations, excellent communication, organization, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and care systems. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is necessary.
