Role Overview: This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining equipment, and tracking departmental statistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff by hiring, training, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, and conducting professional development.
- Participate in staffing, budgeting, and responding to operational changes to meet departmental goals.
- Oversee patient care, ensuring interventions are appropriate for age and developmental needs, and document accordingly.
- Develop and implement collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments.
- Manage staff productivity, conduct performance reviews, handle payroll, and coordinate staff communication and scheduling.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational requirements include a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Experience ranges from 2-5 years for supervisory roles with an RN license; preferred experience includes 5-10 years and prior supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
Preferred Attributes: Leadership experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing are preferred.
