Position Overview:
This role involves providing direct patient care in a surgical setting, ensuring a safe and sterile environment while collaborating with the surgical team to achieve high-quality outcomes. The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) supports team management activities, including hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and staff development. Responsibilities also include managing departmental productivity, budget adherence, resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards to promote high-quality patient care.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or associate’s degree, RN licensure, and 2-5 years of nursing experience, with preferred experience in leadership roles. A BSN and 5-10 years of experience are advantageous. Formal leadership experience and supervision skills are preferred.
