The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is responsible for supporting team management activities such as hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and professional development. They assist with departmental productivity, budget adherence, resource management, and promote compliance with organizational standards.
Key duties include managing staff, overseeing patient care plans, coordinating staffing needs, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring departmental operational goals are met. The role requires experience in nursing, with RN licensure, and preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and prior supervisory experience.
Qualifications include a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree, 2-5 years of nursing experience, RN licensure, with preferred experience of 5-10 years and supervisory roles. Formal leadership experience and a BSN are advantageous.
