Assistant Nurse Manager – Operating Room

Role Overview:

Seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager in the Operating Room to oversee patient care, personnel management, equipment maintenance, and statistical tracking within a busy surgical environment. The role involves managing staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and professional development, ensuring departmental productivity aligns with organizational goals. Responsibilities include developing staffing plans, participating in budget development, and maintaining quality patient care tailored to diverse age groups. The position requires direct reports, staff scheduling, payroll reconciliation, and conducting performance reviews and disciplinary actions. The role also involves fostering collaborative care plans based on assessments and treatment plans.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree, RN licensure, 2-5 years of nursing experience, supervisor experience preferred.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, 5-10 years of experience, less than 2 years of supervisor experience.
