Role Overview:
Coordinates patient care, manages personnel, maintains and oversees equipment, and ensures accurate statistical data collection. The role involves hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and developing staff, aiming to support departmental operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff, conduct performance reviews, and implement professional development plans.
- Assist in developing staffing, revenue, and expense budgets, ensuring adherence to financial goals.
- Provide patient care aligned with planned interventions, considering patients’ age and developmental needs, and document accordingly.
- Develop and implement collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments.
- Oversee staff scheduling, payroll updates, and disciplinary actions, ensuring productivity and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
- RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
- 2+ years of leadership experience; supervisory experience is valued.
- Strong management skills, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and staff development.
Additional Requirements:
- Preferred: Surgical experience and team lead/charge experience.
- Ideal candidates have 5-10 years of nursing experience with less than 2 years of supervisory experience for advanced roles.
