Assistant Nurse Manager – Full Time

Role Overview:
The Assistant Nurse Manager is a registered nurse supporting a specific unit or service, working alongside the nurse manager to promote clinical excellence, staff recruitment, retention, and team collaboration.

Responsibilities:

Assist in managing daily operations, ensuring quality patient care, and supporting staff performance through coaching and mentoring.

Participate in staff recruitment, retention, and professional development initiatives.

Support budget management, resource allocation, and quality improvement efforts using evidence-based practices.

Foster teamwork among staff, physicians, and departments, promoting a safe and positive work environment.

Ensure compliance with licensing, regulatory, and accreditation standards, and uphold ethical nursing practices.

Contribute to performance improvement, data-driven decision making, and implementing change management strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing.
Current RN licensure (single-state or multi-state compact) and Basic Life Support certification; national certification in nursing administration preferred.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills; commitment to professional growth and team mentorship.
Knowledge of healthcare financing, regulatory standards, and quality improvement principles.
