Role Overview: This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining equipment, and overseeing statistical data within an emergency department setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff including hiring, training, evaluating performance, and ensuring productivity aligns with departmental goals.
- Participate in staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation to meet operational objectives.
- Oversee patient care plans, ensuring interventions meet patients’ developmental and medical needs, and document appropriately.
- Manage staff scheduling, payroll, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure departmental compliance with policies and support professional development.
Qualifications & Skills:
- RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 2-5 years of experience; supervisory experience is a plus.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Preferred experience in emergency room or critical care.
