Role Overview:
Supports operational functions within a hospital’s acute medicine unit, overseeing staffing, scheduling, compliance, and staff development. Responsible for developing plans to enhance staff performance, managing audits and regulatory readiness, and ensuring quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage staffing, payroll, and scheduling, including overtime and performance evaluations.
- Lead staff onboarding, training, and professional development.
- Develop and monitor budgets, analyze trends, and respond to operational changes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards through audits and corrective actions.
- Handle service recovery and resolve operational issues related to physician and bed management.
- Prepare reports, analyze data, and develop action plans for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with leadership to promote clinical and service excellence.
Qualifications & Skills:
- RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience; supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage staff performance, compliance, and operational metrics.
