Assistant Director – Clinic

Job Summary

Provide administrative leadership for diagnostic imaging departments, including Radiology, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology, and Mammography. Responsible for staffing, policy development, personnel training, and supply management to ensure efficient operations within budget. Oversee patient procedures, ensuring proper imaging, patient comfort, privacy, and accurate reporting for billing and diagnosis. Verify patient identity and order accuracy. Demonstrate adaptability to workload fluctuations, attend meetings, maintain department certifications, and pursue ongoing education. Ensure reliable attendance and foster collaboration with team members, physicians, and patients, promoting positive communication and attitude.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED; graduate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Experience: 5 years in Diagnostic Radiology and 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Certifications: BLS, MRT License from Texas, ARRT Certification in Radiography.
