Seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist with cardiac training or TEE experience for two hospitals and four surgery centers in Hickory, NC.
Provide general and regional anesthesia, oversee patient evaluations, and develop anesthesia plans. Supervise nurse anesthetists and mentor trainees. Perform procedures such as intubation, venous/arterial access, and post-op care. Manage cardiac cases including CABGs and valves, with a busy TAVR program using a dedicated TAVR suite. Ensure patient safety, monitor vital signs, and react to complications. Require MD/DO, BC/BE in anesthesiology, 3+ years experience, NC license, and strong communication skills. Work involves frequent patient contact, in a team-oriented, performance-driven environment, with some stressful situations. EEO employer.
