Role: Provide pediatric anesthesia care as a qualified member of the anesthesia care team, collaborating with and working under the direction of an anesthesiologist.
Key Duties:
- Perform pre-anesthetic assessments for pediatric patients.
- Assist with anesthesia administration and provide continuous patient monitoring during procedures.
- Provide post-anesthesia recovery care and support safe discharge readiness.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and assist with stabilization as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient safety and care outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Qualified to function as part of the anesthesia care team.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills within the clinical team.
- Competence in pediatric peri-anesthetic assessment, monitoring, and recovery support.
- Ability to follow anesthesiologist direction and manage time-sensitive clinical situations.
