Role Overview:
The Warehouse Associate at the delivery station prepares packages for delivery by receiving, sorting, building pallets, and transporting items. They operate technology to scan and organize orders, load trucks, and ensure efficient handling of packages. The role involves physical activities such as lifting up to 49 pounds, standing, walking, pushing, and climbing stairs in a climate-controlled environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and prepare packages for delivery
- Use handheld devices to scan, sort, and organize shipments
- Build, wrap, and transport pallets and packages
- Receive truck deliveries and stage items for pickup
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to follow instructions in English
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and work in varying temperatures
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, push, pull, and climb stairs
- Comfortable working around moving equipment and in noisy environments
