Role Overview: An Advanced Practice Provider (APP) specializing in hospitalist care during night shifts, responsible for delivering comprehensive patient healthcare in primary or specialty areas.
Provide patient diagnoses, treatment, education, and referrals while serving as a clinical resource and role model for practitioners and students. Assist leadership in planning, organizing, and implementing APP activities to ensure high-quality patient care. Perform clinical duties such as taking histories, conducting physical exams, ordering tests, and developing care plans. Collaborate with physicians, educate patients and families, and support interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes. Maintain current licensure, certifications, and adhere to policies, regulations, and standards. Demonstrate leadership, effective communication, patient-centered behaviors, and knowledge of organizational policies. Participate in professional development, quality improvement, and compliance activities. Qualifications: - Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant healthcare programs and appropriate licensure and certifications based on the specific role (Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Midwife, or Clinical Nurse Specialist).
