Overview:
Provides clinical leadership to enhance compliance with quality and cost standards. Manages service delivery of inter-professional teams, offering clinical and operational guidance to achieve optimal outcomes. Performs advanced nursing care within regulatory standards, working under the supervision of the Clinical Director for the Nurse Practitioner Program.
Key Responsibilities:
Manages full scope of advanced nursing practice, evaluates patient responses, and revises care plans accordingly. Develops and trains staff on clinical protocols, provides comprehensive care including assessments, interventions, education, and discharge planning. Collaborates with patients, families, and team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care. Ensures compliance with patient-centered standards and quality measures such as HEDIS and QARR.
Qualifications:
– Valid NY State RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses, with specialty certification.
– Master’s degree in Nursing and ANCC or AANP certification.
– Minimum two years of relevant clinical experience; psychiatric NP experience if applicable.
– Knowledge of quality measures, coding, and care management.
– Bilingual skills preferred.
