Role Overview: Supervises nursing care delivery on assigned units, ensuring compliance with policies, laws, and regulations. Focuses on developing improvements to provide high-quality, cost-effective patient care aligned with organizational goals and the Magnet philosophy. Supports clinical practice, budget management, regulatory requirements, and electronic medical record systems. Aims to optimize patient and family experiences through excellent customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participates in policy formulation, communicates procedures, and promotes positive guest relations.
- Fosters evidence-based practice and collaborates with medical staff and educators for staff development.
- Provides direct supervision, conducts performance evaluations, manages staffing, and addresses performance issues.
- Develops strategic operational plans, manages resources, and ensures fiscal accountability.
- Promotes service standards, resolves patient concerns, and conducts leadership rounds.
- Ensures incident reporting, addresses risk exposure, and maintains compliance with safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate of a specialty training program; enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred.

- Knowledge of evidence-based practice, regulatory standards, and patient safety.
