Role Summary
Responsible for managing resource utilization, communication, and patient care operations within a designated area. Oversees staff supervision, training, work assignment, and performance evaluation, either independently or with higher-level management. Performs additional duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervises daily patient care delivery and operational activities.
- Coordinates staff activities, assigns tasks, and reviews work performance.
- Participates in goal setting, policy development, and program evaluation.
- Acts as a change agent to improve systems and workflows.
- Models professional behavior and implements cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in management and problem-solving leadership roles.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
- RN licensure required; additional training and skills desired.
