Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in a 26-bed acute care unit specializing in medical-surgical cases, including occasional trach patient care. The nurse will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within established standards, promoting patient and family-centered care, safety, and quality compliance. Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, educating patients and families on illness management, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery. The role requires critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational requirements: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Licensure: Valid RN license.
- Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
- Skills: Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking abilities; ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
