Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting, assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions within established standards. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team including case managers, social workers, and therapists to deliver high-quality care.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and documenting individualized care plans with clear goals in collaboration with patients, families, and team members.
- Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
- Participating in activities promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate with a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree; RN licensure required.
- Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of experience.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills; safety-sensitive role requiring alertness.
