Acute Inpatient Charge Registered Nurse – RN – Dialysis

Position Overview:
The Inpatient Services Charge Nurse is responsible for overseeing Acute Dialysis Services within hospitals by coordinating staff, scheduling treatments, and ensuring quality patient care. This role involves performing dialysis treatments, supervising staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, and managing patient care plans in collaboration with physicians. The Charge Nurse monitors equipment maintenance, infection control, and documentation accuracy, while practicing cost containment strategies. They serve as a liaison between hospital staff and management, participate in quality improvement activities, and assist with projects as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:
– Current state licensure and CPR/BLS certification
– Minimum 9 months nursing experience, including 3 months in dialysis care
– Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
– Ability to perform complex tasks independently and handle physical demands of patient care
