Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care
Provide compassionate, evidence-based care for patients on acute care units. Perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications and treatments, and monitor patient status to support safe, high-quality outcomes.
Key Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop/implement nursing care plans
- Administer medications and perform prescribed therapies safely
- Monitor vital signs and clinical changes; respond to urgent needs
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care with physicians and other healthcare team members
- Educate patients and families to support understanding and recovery
- Participate in rapid response and emergency support as needed
- Document care and clinical information accurately in the EHR
Qualifications & Skills
- Active RN licensure
- Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and patient monitoring skills
- Excellent communication and patient/family education abilities
- Sound judgment in prioritizing care and responding to emergencies
- Commitment to safety, quality standards, and accurate EHR documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team
