Provide inpatient physical therapy for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in an acute care hospital.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations and assess functional status.
- Develop, implement, and modify treatment plans based on patient response and clinical findings.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.
- Provide patient and family education to support recovery and safe self-management.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and progress.
- Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team and participate in discharge planning.
Required qualifications/skills: Strong clinical assessment and treatment-planning skills, effective communication and patient education, accurate clinical documentation, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
