Role Overview:
Seeking a Director in Accounting Advisory Services to lead and manage complex accounting advisory engagements, provide expert support on financial reporting, and assist with regulatory filings such as SEC submissions, IPOs, and acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee large-scale accounting projects, including implementation of new standards and financial restatements.
- Support clients with SEC filings for various corporate transactions.
- Deliver conversion services for companies transitioning to U.S. GAAP or IFRS.
- Assist with transaction-related accounting, including M&A, divestitures, financial instruments, and bankruptcy emergence.
- Collaborate with valuation advisors on valuation impacts and reporting.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients and senior executives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum eight years of experience in public accounting, advisory services, or a multinational organization, focusing on financial auditing or corporate accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; CPA or equivalent license required.
- Expertise in U.S. GAAP, IFRS, SEC reporting, business combinations, or financial restatements.
- Proven ability to engage with senior leadership and lead diverse teams of over twenty professionals.
- Willingness to travel and authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
