Seeking a travel RN for a 13-week PCU (Progressive Care Unit) position in Roanoke, VA, starting 07/21/2025, working 36 hours/week on 12-hour night shifts.
Provides intermediate care for patients needing higher monitoring than general units but not ICU-level.
Conducts assessments, monitors vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and lab results, and manages complex conditions like post-surgical recovery, respiratory distress, and heart failure.
Administers medications, uses telemetry, and collaborates with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
Educates patients/families, documents interventions, and follows safety protocols.
Responds to emergencies, performs life support, and supports team collaboration to ensure quality patient outcomes.
