The RN provides intermediate care for patients with moderate to high acuity, monitoring vital signs, lab results, and cardiac rhythms.
Administers medications, manages complex conditions, and provides post-surgical care.
Collaborates with healthcare teams on care plans, participates in rounds, and educates patients and families.
Accurately documents care in electronic health records, follows infection control protocols, and responds to emergencies with advanced life support if needed.
Works closely with team members, supports less experienced staff, and engages in quality improvement activities.
