Role: 1:1 School LVN
Provide direct, individualized nursing care to a student in an educational setting.
- Monitor vital signs and document observations accurately
- Administer medications and carry out prescribed treatments per care plans and district policies
- Support chronic and acute health needs while maintaining student safety and comfort
- Respond to medical emergencies following established protocols
- Collaborate with school nurses, educators, families, and clinical staff to coordinate care
- Promote health, safety, inclusion, and the student’s ability to learn
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN) with strong clinical judgment
- Ability to follow care plans, medication protocols, and district policies
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with multiple stakeholders
- Comfort with emergency response and ongoing health monitoring
