The Family Practice with Obstetrics (FPOB) Physician provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, with a focus on prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum care.
Deliver full-spectrum family medicine, including wellness exams, chronic disease management, urgent care, and minor procedures. Perform obstetric services such as prenatal visits, labor management, deliveries, and postpartum follow-up. Care for newborns and pediatric patients as part of family-centered care. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in quality improvement and patient-centered activities. Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention. Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and participate in community outreach, call rotations, and after-hours coverage. Participate in hospital call schedule for labor and deliveries, including weekends and after hours. Qualifications: MD or DO degree, completed Family Medicine residency, additional obstetric training or competency, current unrestricted license, board certification or eligibility, and relevant certifications such as BLS, ACLS, NRP, and ALSO preferred.
