The Speech Therapist provides diagnostic and therapeutic services for individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.

Key responsibilities include

evaluating communication challenges through assessments,

diagnosing speech and language disorders,

developing and implementing personalized treatment plans,

conducting therapy and counseling,

collaborating with healthcare teams,

maintaining accurate documentation,

participating in research and training,

and

supporting quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications include a current Texas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist, BLS certification, and expertise in assessment and treatment techniques. Strong communication, collaboration skills, and adherence to safety and ethical standards are essential.
