Seeking a part-time Psychiatrist (30 hrs/week, on-site, $275K-$320K/year) to provide comprehensive mental health care in a correctional setting.
Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric assessments, diagnosing mental disorders, developing and adjusting treatment plans, prescribing medications, and offering brief psychotherapy.
Provide crisis intervention, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and educate correctional staff on mental health issues.
Maintain accurate documentation, ensure compliance with laws and ethical standards, and stay updated on psychiatric advancements.
Qualifications include an MD/DO, valid license, and experience in psychiatric care, preferably in correctional or underserved populations.
Strong communication, assessment skills, and ability to work in a challenging environment are essential.
