-Conducting Substance Use Assessments and Clinical Evaluations
-Managing Substance Use Disorders and Co-Occurring Disorders
-Referral Processes and Case Management
-Group Dynamics and Treatment Settings (Residential/Outpatient)
-Developing Individual Treatment Plans and Maintaining Clinical Records
-Providing Group, Individual, and Family Counseling
-Understanding Diagnostic Criteria and Professional Ethics
Skills include evaluations, placements, referrals, and relapse prevention.
Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree, at least 1 year of addiction counseling experience, and are comfortable with in-person work.
Pay ranges from $50,128.80 to $60,370.17 annually, with benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
