Seeking an orthopedic spine surgeon for a part-time, on-site contract role as an independent contractor. The position involves treating patients during a 4-hour weekly or biweekly shift, complementing your current practice with flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities include managing medically complex cases, supporting return-to-work efforts, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams to provide both surgical and non-surgical care for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. Active communication with employers and case management is also required.
Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, state licensure, MD or DO graduation, unrestricted DEA license, board certification or eligibility in orthopedic spine surgery, and malpractice insurance.
