PRN medical position at a 125-bed facility in Springfield, Illinois, with shifts Monday to Thursday (5 pm – 8 am) and weekends (Friday 5:30 pm to Monday 8 am).

- Perform evaluations for admission, initial history, and physical exams as needed.
- Develop treatment plans, order lab studies, and provide care to adult inpatients.
- Document exam results and treatment plans accurately.
- Attend to employee work-related injuries and respond to emergencies.
- Make hospital referrals per policy and review restraint or seclusion orders.
- Provide on-call services from the call room.
- Respond to pages for patient assessments, falls, emergencies, and occasional admissions, including completing H&Ps and medication orders.
Physician requirements include an Illinois license, Controlled Substance and DEA certificates, recent negative Mantoux test, and board eligibility/certification in a specialty.
Pay ranges from $1,100 to $1,125 per day with a flexible schedule, offering in-person work.
