Seeking a hand surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care at a healthcare facility. The role involves treating patients during approximately a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly, complementing your current practice.
Responsibilities include managing medically complex patients, facilitating return to work and functional restoration, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams. You will offer both surgical and non-surgical services for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries, communicate with employers, and participate in case management.
Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, state licensure, MD or DO degree, unrestricted DEA license, and board certification or eligibility in Hand Surgery. Must have medical malpractice insurance. Compensation is based on a revenue share model.
