Speech Language Pathologist

The Staff Speech Pathologist provides comprehensive evaluations and treatments for patients of all ages with communication and/or swallowing disorders, under physician prescriptions.

  • Identify, assess, and treat speech, language, and dysphagia disorders.
  • Manage programs related to communication and supervise staff/services.
  • Counsel patients, families, and caregivers on disorder management.
  • Develop and implement communication aids and discharge plans.
  • Document patient progress and contribute to departmental operations.

  • Qualifications: Master’s or doctoral degree, ASHA certification, and state license. Preferably, completed clinical fellowship.

    Physical/Skill Demands: Strong communication skills; knowledge of medical terminology; experience with videofluoroscopic evaluations is a plus.

    Work Details: Full-time, in person, with benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off. Compensation ranges from $37.00 to $44.00/hour.
