Child Psychiatrist

Overview:

A leading community health organization dedicated to providing patient-centered behavioral health services, especially for children. With over 50 years of service, it operates 14 clinics across multiple counties, serving over 70,000 patients annually.

Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive behavioral health services, including prevention, treatment, and recovery support for children and adults.
Conduct psychiatric and medical assessments, evaluate co-existing conditions, and collaborate with primary care providers.
Manage medication monitoring, ensuring appropriate use and monitoring side effects.

Qualifications:
California medical license (MD or DO), valid DEA, and certification as a psychiatrist (American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology).
Minimum 2 years of full-time experience in child/adult psychiatry, with residency training in psychiatry or family medicine.
Experience working with children, strong communication skills, and proficiency with electronic health records.

Position Details:
Part-time role paying $141.42 – $150.00/hour, depending on experience.
