Seeking an Internal Medicine Physician (MD or DO) in California for a 1099 contractor role at a residential eating disorder treatment center.
The responsibilities include conducting medical assessments, collaborating on treatment planning, managing medications, interpreting labs, providing clinical support, and participating in medical rounds at two facilities. The role requires availability for emergencies and documentation in electronic health records.
Qualifications include an active California medical license, DEA registration, experience with behavioral health or eating disorders preferred, and professional liability insurance. Travel to Monterey and Santa Barbara twice monthly is required.
Compensation offers $250 per initial visit, $125 per follow-up, and a $1,500 monthly administrative stipend per facility, with an expected 5–10 hours/week. This is an on-site, part-time position.
