Seeking a licensed, board-certified (or eligible) psychiatrist for a full-time role in a mental health clinic serving adults with severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, often complicated by trauma and co-occurring conditions.
This position offers a salary of $229,000-$235,000 annually, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, with in-person work in the Longwood Medical Area and benefits including health insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and vision coverage.
Responsibilities include comprehensive psychiatric assessments, medication management (including complex psychopharmacology), and promoting recovery-oriented, person-centered care. The role involves developing wellness programs, supervising interdisciplinary teams, and engaging with patients and communities to support social inclusion and recovery goals.
Qualifications include Massachusetts medical license, DEA certification, expertise in treating severe mental illnesses, and experience in collaborative, trauma-informed care. An academic appointment with Harvard Medical School may be available.
