Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating patients within 48 hours of referral
- Developing and obtaining approval for treatment plans from physicians
- Implementing treatment plans and adhering to documentation guidelines
- Communicating patient progress and concerns with the team
- Participating in care conferences, training sessions, and discharge planning
- Maintaining accurate electronic records and recording charges
- Instructing families or staff on maintenance programs
