In this role, you will provide compassionate support and develop tailored care plans, leveraging your expertise in behavioral health and social work to empower residents to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of residents’ social, emotional, and behavioral health needs
Scheduling and attending weekly care plan meetings
Using motivational interviewing techniques to motivate residents toward positive change
Applying proven experience in social work, long-term care, and behavioral health
Managing crisis situations effectively
Possessing prior experience in addiction counseling or substance abuse treatment preferred
Building trust and rapport with diverse populations through strong communication skills
Expected hours: 20 per week. Work is in person, in a community-focused environment.
