The Family Nurse Practitioner provides diagnosis, treatment, and patient education under supervision.
Examines patients, records histories, orders and interprets tests, and develops care plans. Performs procedures, prescribes medications, and manages infections. Maintains accurate medical charts and ensures timely documentation. Supervises staff, students, and volunteers, and participates in quality assurance. Provides health education, especially on STD prevention, and prescreens cases for review. Adheres to regulatory standards, maintains licensure, and demonstrates professionalism. Works independently, multitasks effectively, and collaborates within a team. Requires current California license, certifications, and 2+ years clinical experience. Offers flexible schedule, with occasional travel to other clinics, and compensation between $65-$80/hour.
