Corrections Nurse Practitioner to provide primary and urgent care for incarcerated adults within a secure correctional facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct health assessments and triage for sick call and urgent needs.
- Manage chronic diseases and provide ongoing treatment plans.
- Perform minor procedures as within scope of practice.
- Prescribe and manage medications, ensuring appropriate use and monitoring.
- Coordinate referrals to specialty services and ensure follow-through.
- Collaborate with custody, nursing, and behavioral health teams to support comprehensive care.
- Follow facility compliance, documentation, and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills
