Registered Nurse (CVICU)
Provide advanced, evidence-based nursing care for critically ill cardiovascular and post-operative patients, including cardiac surgery, heart failure, and post-interventional cases.
Key duties
- Deliver continuous monitoring and comprehensive assessments of patient status.
- Manage complex medications and intravenous drips with precision.
- Provide ventilator support and other critical care nursing interventions.
- Respond rapidly to clinical changes and support emergency interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
- Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery guidance.
- Maintain strict patient safety, documentation, and quality standards.
- Mentor and support newer nurses while continually improving critical care skills.
Qualifications & skills
- Current RN license and ability to provide critical care for cardiovascular patients.
- Strong clinical judgment for complex monitoring, medication management, and ventilator care.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, team-based environment.
- Excellent communication and patient/family teaching skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning.
