Radiologic Technologist (X-ray)
Operate stationary and portable X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs. Prepare, assess, and position patients, ensuring comfort and correct imaging setup. Clearly explain procedures to patients and provide reassurance throughout the process.
Maintain strict adherence to radiation protection, infection control, and patient safety practices. Follow established protocols for safe exposure and equipment operation.
Document patient care activities and imaging details accurately. Communicate effectively with the care team to support coordinated patient management. Assist with patient transport and provide support during emergency care scenarios as needed.
Key Skills/Qualifications
- Proficiency operating X-ray equipment (stationary and portable)
- Strong patient positioning and radiographic imaging skills
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protective procedures
- Excellent communication and patient care/comfort skills
