Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a high-acuity hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, position, and monitor patients before, during, and after cath lab procedures.
- Operate imaging and hemodynamic equipment and support accurate data collection.
- Maintain a sterile field and follow aseptic technique throughout procedures.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and the care team to deliver safe, timely care.
- Provide on-call support for emergent cases as needed.
- Adhere to radiation safety and infection-control standards.
- Complete accurate, timely documentation of equipment use, patient status, and procedure support.
Qualifications & Skills
- Training and competence in cardiac catheterization lab procedures and equipment operation.
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique, infection prevention, and radiation safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity environment with attention to detail.
- Clear communication and teamwork skills with clinical providers.
