Registered Nurse (Endoscopy/GI Lab)
Provide comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care for adult patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures.
- Perform patient assessment and prepare patients for procedures.
- Establish IV access and administer medications and moderate sedation as directed.
- Provide continuous monitoring during procedures and support safe patient outcomes.
- Deliver post-procedure care and provide discharge education.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team.
- Support scope reprocessing and maintain infection-control and safety standards.
- Participate in quality improvement activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- Proven ability to manage patient care across the procedure continuum.
- Strong skills in sedation/moderate sedation administration and vital sign monitoring.
- Thorough understanding of sterile/infection prevention practices.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and patient education skills.
