Certified Surgical Tech Coordinator (Spine Program)
Coordinate complex spine surgeries by preparing operating rooms, setting up specialized surgical instruments and implants, and maintaining strict sterile technique. Partner with surgeons and multidisciplinary clinical teams to support efficient, patient-focused procedures.
- Oversee OR readiness and equipment/instrument setup for spine cases
- Ensure proper sterile handling and adherence to surgical safety standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of cases and implants
- Manage spine-related inventory to support required materials and tools
- Assist in improving OR workflows related to safety and quality
- Mentor and support junior surgical technologists
Qualifications & Skills
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist
- Strong knowledge of spine surgery instrumentation and implants
- Excellent attention to detail, sterile technique, and safety compliance
- Effective communication and teamwork with surgeons and clinical staff
- Ability to manage records and inventory with accuracy
- Coaching/mentoring mindset and adaptability in a fast-paced OR
