Role Summary
Perform computerized tomography (CT) procedures in a freestanding emergency care setting. Prepare and position patients, operate CT systems and related imaging equipment, and complete required imaging documentation.
Provide age-appropriate patient care while following all safety, infection-control, and imaging protocols. Maintain CT equipment and imaging supplies to ensure readiness and reliability.
Collaborate effectively with the radiology team to support timely, accurate diagnostic imaging.
Key Duties
- Prepare patients for CT and ensure correct positioning for imaging
- Operate CT systems and related equipment safely and accurately
- Complete imaging documentation and related records
- Follow radiation safety, patient safety, and infection-control procedures
- Provide age-appropriate care for patients
- Monitor, maintain, and restock equipment and supplies
- Coordinate with radiology team members to support imaging workflow
