Retail Pharmacy Tech 1 supports safe, accurate, and timely medication dispensing by processing prescriptions, preparing and labeling medications, and assisting patients and caregivers with compassionate, efficient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming prescriptions and support verification workflows.
- Prepare, measure, and label medications accurately according to medication safety standards.
- Maintain and track pharmacy inventory to support availability and proper stock handling.
- Assist with insurance adjudication activities related to prescription coverage.
- Protect patient privacy and follow confidentiality requirements.
