Key Responsibilities
- Perform mental health assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer psychiatric medications safely and monitor patient response.
- Provide crisis intervention and support therapeutic, safe environments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
- Educate patients and families on treatment, coping strategies, and care plans.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
- Uphold patient safety, compliance, and professional standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN licensure with strong psychiatric nursing capability.
- Competence in mental health assessment, medication administration, and crisis response.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a care team.
- Strong documentation, patient/family education, and safety-focused judgment.
