Operating Room Nurse (Women’s & Children’s Services)
Provide expert perioperative nursing care for obstetric, gynecologic, and pediatric patients. Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to support safe, patient-first surgical outcomes.
Key Duties
- Perform pre-operative patient assessment and preparation
- Serve as circulating and/or scrub nurse as needed
- Maintain sterile technique and support infection prevention
- Ensure accurate perioperative documentation
- Educate patients and families regarding perioperative care
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong perioperative nursing knowledge and clinical judgment
- Ability to collaborate effectively with surgical and anesthesia teams
- Commitment to safety protocols and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and patient-family education skills
